MediRama, a clinical development consulting company, hosted the "MediRama Highlights ASCO 2026" event on July 16 at Yuhan Corporation's headquarters in Dongjak-gu, Seoul. During the event, MediRama shared key research findings presented at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO 2026) Annual Meeting, along with the latest trends in oncology drug development, with Korea's pharmaceutical and biotechnology community.

Now in its fourth year, MediRama Highlights ASCO 2026 introduced major studies and clinical data presented at ASCO 2026, which was held in Chicago, USA, in May, to researchers and industry professionals in Korea. Approximately 120 attendees, including representatives from biotech and pharmaceutical companies, public and academic institutions, and the media, participated in the event.

ASCO is the world's largest oncology conference, bringing together medical oncologists, researchers, and pharmaceutical and biotechnology professionals from around the globe. Each year, MediRama shares key scientific advances presented at ASCO with the Korean life sciences industry, providing strategic insights to support the development of innovative oncology therapeutics.

The first session featured Dr. Hanlim Moon, CEO of MediRama, who reviewed the key studies presented during the ASCO 2026 Plenary Session and discussed their potential impact on future standards of care and clinical development strategies. This was followed by Eunkyo Jung, Director, who summarized the most notable Late Breaking Abstracts, highlighting the latest research trends and their clinical significance.

Hyunjung Roh, Chief Commercial Officer, introduced MediRama's clinical development platform and global project experience, demonstrating the company's integrated service capabilities spanning clinical strategy through trial execution.

During the afternoon sessions, Jina Shin, Senior Director, presented the latest development trends and key clinical data in Immunotherapy. Professor Soohyun Lee of Korea University College of Medicine delivered a presentation titled "Clinician's Insight from ASCO 2026 (CRC and Rare Cancers)," sharing key clinical findings presented in colorectal cancer (CRC) and rare cancers, along with their implications for clinical practice.

"ASCO is the premier scientific meeting where the present and future of global oncology drug development can be seen first," said Dr. Hanlim Moon, CEO of MediRama. "Through MediRama Highlights ASCO, we will continue to provide a platform that enables Korean researchers and pharmaceutical companies to rapidly access key scientific insights and incorporate them into their drug development strategies."

He added, "Leveraging our global clinical development expertise and experience, MediRama will continue to support the successful development of innovative oncology therapeutics by Korean pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies while serving as a platform for sharing the latest scientific advances with the industry."
